How about an appendectomy? Yup, that's how I spent this past weekend. Giving up a useless organ because it decided it was time. ****, you talk about pain!!! I was released this afternoon (Monday), and told by the doc to stay home for three to five days. No work. No lifting of more than ten pounds. No driving.

Healing up well. Maybe I can actually get some sleep tonight. Can't remember that level of pain, ever.

How did your weekend go?

Sorry to hear that you have been laid up and I wish you a speedy recovery.

Pain in that area sucks. I had a kidney stone at 3am Aug 2019. I had no idea what it was, but it hurt like hell. I was telling my wife where the will is and how to get rid of my ashes on the way to the hospital. They doped me up and ran fluids thru me until it passed. Aging is not fun.

Sheesh - what a drag. Kidney stones are pretty bad too from what I hear...

Glad to know you're OK, and I hope the hospital bills weren't too exorbitant.
I can tell you all about kidney stones, I have had 4. The first time was the worst.

Between the surgery recovery and Day Three of Icy Apocalypse 2020, this has been a tough week. I'll post pics after sunrise of my driveway. The tree damage is massive.

Feeling great today! I can actually get out of bed, off the recliner, or get out of the car without strain and pain! The change in a week is wonderful.

Thanks for the well-wishes, guys!

Overall tree damage count from the storm:

Damaged - 45 trees have mild to severe damage.

Will need to be cut down - At least 14. Two were my favorites on the property; both grew side-by-side in the pasture; planted after the 2003 tornado. I lost 151 trees back then. It hurts to see what's out there.

Hope you feel better soon. And the tree clean up isn't too overwhelming.
