While up working on Virgil last week we decided to attend the annual Lineville show. Held in a beautiful park. We loaded my buddies freshly dragged out of the woods Tennessee Valley Authority trailer with all kinds of parts and headed out for the 50 miles with the trailer hooked to his 66 Chevy 4X4.
The show is mostly hot rods, customs and other types of riff raft but there was a great turn out. And a pretty day.
It was Sunday, deal day. A fellow had a set of 4" whitewall bias ply Silvertown 800 X 14 tires with good tread that had been well stored and looked great. The size I wanted for Virgil which came new with 855 X 14's. He wanted $150.00 for the set. I went back a couple of times, kicked the tires and ended up buying them for $60.00.
I won't do much driving on them but they will look great on Virgil.
