I would never assume that you would spend the kind of $ necessary to pro-street and tub a car and then demo derby it. The only caution is that if you alter a car that much, it will be hard to get your money back out of it when it comes time to sell. Best of luck and welcome again. Ben

Welcome Aboard,
This is a great site with a lot of great people... You will be glad that you are part of the community....

Welcome!

Just saw your post about the GF3 green 1971 Monaco sedan you bought. I own a '71 myself and would love to see more photos of your car, including (of course) its fender tag. Regardless of whether you decide to save the car or part it, you probably want to talk to the local expert -- @71Polara383 in Rockford, IL.

There are plenty of Wisconsin folks on the forum. For example, @JPMODL owns a number of C-bodies in great shape; he is probably closest to you in Eau Claire. @DeMopuar also very much likes fuselage Dodges. @1971Monaco owns a car just like yours, except it's GE7 Burgundy (aka "Burnished Red" at Chrysler/Plymouth) rather than your GF3 Medium Green (aka "Amber Sherwood"). @Don Stolfi owns a '69 Polara 'vert. There are numerous others: a lot of them come to the Midwest C-body show that @sixpkrt organizes every summer -- see here for those who attended the 2019 meet at Volo.

Thank you!

My Monaco, aka "Medina" DH23T1F143213 , has the J25 (3-speed wiper) and L25 (trunk light) codes on both of her build sheets -- but they are not on the fender tag. Medina was built at the Newark, DE plant. Your Monaco, which was built at Belvedere, has the codes on the tag. @71Polara383, @polara71, and @69CoronetRT may like this tidbit. Since you and I both have the R13 radio, I'll be interested to see what yours looks like as the appearance of mine was a topic of discussion last year.

They put an aftermarket cd player deck in :(

I have the factory build sheet for the car as well in good shape!
