This looks like a very nice car, it's a shame another c has probably been used as a heart/sole transplant for a B,E, or A body. There is no engine, trans, driveshaft or title but in PA, you can get a reconstructed title for it.

If this were a hardtop or two door, I would be on my way to pick it up for the windshield but I don't have the time to part this out or the desire to spend money getting it on the road, I've already got a project that I don't have time for. The following is the link and text/pics from the CL ad.

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

If I did not have two project cars now I would be all over this one. I even have a 440 and trans for it.

Great dmo derby car without any drivetrain??? By the time somebody got it stripped and then had to re-power it, why bother>

Might make a good candidate for a Gen III modernization, with whatever version of TF, though!

Quarters look real good. Hope someone in Pennsy grabs it. In Virginia, it would be almost impossible to title.

I'm glad to see you rescue this! I used to live in Scranton. I thought it ironic that this should appear when I'm no longer there.

I like the lift! Who needs a building? Just pour a slab and go!
How well would that hold up outdoors I wonder? I gave thought to doing that myself but hate to trash good equipment being left out (I'm not in CA anymore!).

My Highschool looked into purchasing some lifts for a potential shop class, but we didn't have a lot of space so they thought about putting them outside, but after contacting a few manufacturers, the manufacturers said that they would void the warranties immediately on these things if put outside and that air in coastal Massachusetts would destroy these things in a short-ish time..so the school put the kibosh on that Idea...

we still got to work with those portable quick jacks tho.

I've actually wondered that myself. Not only would the elements shorten the life of the lift, but where I live it would limit just how often I'd get to use it.
