Looks like both the taillights are shattered, and they've MacGyvered something with cardstock and that taillight tape product?

Aftermarket fender skirts. Probably "Foxcraft" brand. I thought it was a pretty nice car until I saw THEM. 108" whip can be dealt with, as it was back then. Otherwise, looks pretty nice for its age.

Enjoy!

Typically the 108" whip antenna was for law enforcement radio......this car history might really be interesting.

Also was prevalent during the CB radio days, too.

Looks like a good starting point for someone - a one owner car that old is very rare. Seems prettty straight with most of the right options.

I probably have some nos tail light stuff to bring it back in that respect.

Needs a lot of tlc, but doable with $$ and time.

This is how the interior could look when done:

Very original dash pads are available from RD Autoline who reproduces them in Sweden I believe it is - they are perfect and look exactly like the originals do - and the price is also very reasonable even when shipping is taken into account.

That is gorgeous! What, may I ask is in the place of where the shifter would be in a console car, that happens to be push button shifted?

For the very few 300 Letter cars that had manual transmissions, the shifters were mounted on the left side of the console, not on top. For the 1964 and 1965 300 Letter cars with consoles, the automatic transmission shifters were mounted on top of their consoles since push button controls were eliminated starting with the 1964 model year.

Well, except for the 1960 F with a 4spd. The shifter was where the ash tray was in the automatic versions. Earlier 300's with manuals (56 for NASCAR was 3 spd on the column.)

You are correct regarding the pont-a-mousson shifter in the 300F as I was thinking mainly of manual transmissions used in as many as 48 300Gs with a Borg Warner heavy duty 3-speed manual transmission where the shifter was mounted on the side of the console and were factory built.

Here is a photo of the 300F with the 4 speed french transmission also used in Facel Vegas. They really were not beefy enough to stand up to the power/weight of the 300Fs though........only a handful were built.

This photo shows the low production 300G mounting adjacent to the console....
