Just wanted to share some progress with the 300, engine is out and has been machined. Replaced the crank and 2 rods. I stayed with the 516 heads, had hardened seats put in and blended the bowls, surfaced the heads. Finishing the rebuild now with a little bigger cam, new lifters and springs. Took the wheel wells out to clean up and repaint. The liners are **** and need alot of work.

Yer doing nice work. I too had my '66 440 rebuilt and retained the 516 heads. What cam did you decide to use?

Sounds like the Comp Cam I used. BTW, are you coming to the Really Big Mopar Meet in Ocala on the 13th thru 15th? I'll be there with my Navajo.
Yes I plan on being there. They just confirmed times with me ( see below) I'll be spectating this year finding some parts hopefully!

Mighty fine. You should try and find us. @bluefury361 , @cantflip and a few others will be there too.

I thought about driving up to Ocala, but I figured there wouldn't be very much C-body stuff up there. I've seen so many A and B-body muscle cars, and it was hot today. But I'm glad you fellas had fun.

I found 1 HP manifold ( didn't buy it) and that's it. Definitely alot of cool mopars out there though. Hopefully next year mine will be ready to take down there.
