Hi Folks!

Any suggestions on how to ship an engine for my 69 Fury to 77017 Houston, TX (commercial adress with a forklift)?

Here comes the challenge: as some might know, I am from Germany, so thanks to Covid I just can organize things via phone/Internet instead of flying over to you and put Hands on myself.

I know uship.com and I would love to use them, but they require a US-phone-number to set up an account/place a freight-job and do not accept my German phone.

Same with craigslist.org: eventhough they even run homepages all around the world, they only accept US-phone to activate an account.

Boardmember @Wollfen was so Kind to suggest Fastenal (with their Blue-Line-Freight-Company), but they only ship from one of their stores to another one.

Any suggestions appreciated! Or any idea on how I got get me my own US-mobilephone-number?

Check with any local engine builders and/or farm implement dealers going through their parts department. The last option is trucking companies and independents that serve those areas.

Maybe just put an ad in the wanted section.

Wanted 2 hours of your time using your US phone number. I’m sure somebody on lockdown could use the $$$ and has the time. Just an idea...
