Hi Folks!

I recently bought two cars: one is the 69 Police Fury from 85714 Tucson, AZ in my signature and the other car is located in 80461 Leadville CO.

Both need to be transported to 77017 Houston, TX (not neccessarily in one trip the same time). Delivery is to a commercial adress.

Any members here who do auto-transport themselfs or can recommend me a reliable transport-company?

The Fury does not drive (rolls/steers/brakes) and the other car does drive.

Thank you very much!

I purchased two cars a couple of years ago. One from Colorado and the other in Missouri. You can try JLL Services 920-342-8060. It is a husband and wife team based here in Wisconsin and using an enclosed trailer. If you get VM leave a message with zip codes of pick up and delivery and car specifics. Good Luck I have a '70 Fury III ex-Washington State Patrol car etc. Some time post pictures etc on them...Thanks

Thanks for the recommendation, Pete! Will give JLL a call.

Yes, already knew the 78 Police Fury you linked...it was already discussed here and ran at least 2times on ebay, if I am correct. Too new for my taste. But thanks anyway.

Looking forward to seeing what you drag here to Houston. Good luck.

I used this guy to ship my 77 NYB from Vegas to New York. Very reasonable.

Dave: 712-210-4019

Tell him you’re part of the FCBO, he has shipped for multiple members here, it may help.

Thanks Sean. Would have liked to use uship, but they require a US-phone#...which I don‘t have ;-)

Also meanwhile I found tansportation. Thought I already had posted that here...sorry I obviously did not yet.

FYI: The rates were about 800$ for the one from AZ and about 900$ for the one from CO. They will be picked up in JAN.

Tucson to Houston is just over 1000 miles. Sounds like you got a good rate. Less than a dollar a mile for a non runner is good.

That does indeed sound to be a real good rate - please let us know how the actual shipment goes once it's done.

Glad you located someone. For future reference, I have used A & A transport 0ut of Lilburn Ga. For a couple of jobs. Very reliable and reasonable. 770-291-6560. Talk to Ray.
I learned of him through Detmatt.
He arranged to ship my Polara from Portland to Alabama for $1100.00
.

Thanks for further input, gentlemen!

So I cross my fingers that everything goes well and will let you know if the company did deliver my cars in 1 piece each ;-)

The German shipping-company was able to make me a good offer and put some of their subcontractors in charge for „within-US-transportation“.

Sorry, I do not know the subcontractors names, as I only had direct contact with the shipping-company here in Germany.
