1970 Plymouth fury lll Sedan - $12,000 - Ventura, California

FB Description

Driven 43,000 miles

1970 classic Plymouth fury lll Hardtop, Green & Black. This car had one owner, all original powerful performance. 1970 383 cubic inches motor, automatic transmission. Fully restored to original interior and exterior. Original style seats, dashboard, speedometer, etc. All the chrome, fully functional windows including the classic “Ac blows cold and hot.” Engine clean and strong as ever. In short, this is a beautifully restored car all original. Still a classic engine and transmission, The body and frame of this car are in excellent condition. The frame and undercarriage have developed very minimal rust. For the past fifty years, this car has been taken out of the garage about once every month.

This was a frame-up rather than a frame-off restoration, so the frame and engine compartment have not been overpainted. The undercarriage has minimal rust damage for its vintage, and if it gets the right care, this should be an extremely beautiful car for many years to come.

I call BS on the frame up restoration. Looks like a clean very original car. "Yeah, we restored it, just didn't do a paint job, didn't replace the vinyl roof, or carpet, fix the dash, steering wheel, or ripped seat. Asking 12K?

Cha'khing PROFIT! $$$$$

Seriously 12k for a 4dr? sheet it's only a badged 383... (I swear I've seen this car on midwest Craigslist in the past years)

.

Lots of conflicting and suspicious information in the ad write-up, unless the author just doesn't know what he's talking about.

Obviously, I love the 1970 Fury III. If it's really a 43000 mile car that adds a lot to the value. Still $12K seems high. I'd like more history on the car too.

I'm not seeing anything that looks restored here except the price.

Don't get me wrong,I actually prefer cars in this kind condition but for 12K,you can get a non-green two door in similar or better condition.

Not one engine pic.

The FB listing was taken down...so this probably sold..last time I checked the price was dropped to $10k...maybe we'll see this thing pop up on the market again...

 now it's back on FB for $6,500....I'm guessing people called him out on the on the "frame up restoration" considering the new Description is..."Super clean Everything original Collection car Any questions Letme know... 1970"

The only couple of positive thing I can say 'bout this one is, badged powerbulge hood (sexy) and the man style steering wheel. (thicker)
