Power steering pulley

Morning guys, the Federal pump on my '66 Fury needs the pulley of. It has a wobble after I accidentally dropped it a short distance.
After reading the shop manual and searching on our C bodies I want to make sure the centre nut pulls off.
Am I correct that I need a puller to remove the centre piece, then the pulley, including the hex bit shall slide off?

You can get a puller / installer at auto zone. It comes off in one piece.

It does pull off, but it presses on. The tank needs to be pulled off to do this. I did this on my TRW pump
