A whole lot of white, but looks in great shape. I am betting original trunk mat as I haven’t been able to find that ‘68 hounds tooth pattern for any repros.

Are those power vent windows? Or is something goofy going going on where the vent cranks go?
Does anyone know where it is located?

No, they’re manual. Just the crank position and perspective I’d guess.

Awesome looking car but man that’s a lot of white. If I owned it I’d have to name it Boss Hogg.

You are correct. It is a wild perspective, but now I see the shadow of the handle.

I wonder what the mileage is and what the front seat looks like? This may have been a great reference car for my restore.

I was wondering about the mileage myself. If it’s original I can’t imagine it’s seen much road time.

If the front seat is still in one piece I’d be nervous as hell sitting in it. My 68 was singularly the most gorgeous original example I’d ever seen for about two months when the driver seams started giving out. They can stay looking amazing but man that stuff got brittle with time.

Houndstooth trunk mats are being reproduced. Dante's has them. Just specify that you need the houndstooth pattern.

This car is a good argument for buying one like this as compared to trying to build one. It would be tough to get to this level for 12K.
I really like white.

I just put one in my 67 Polara, as well as a matching spare tire cover. Made by REM. It took me 6 months for the supplier I used to get it, and the second one was not for the correct application, but worked out, so I won't recommend them here. I wasen't Dante's. Their usually pretty good.

I will have to check again, but they have not had the ‘68 pattern. Details for correct pattern in this link.
Trunk Mat Truths. What’s correct?

This is the REM reproduction trunk floor mat and tire cover for 67 and 68 Polaras. Not perfect but better than the others out there. I'm not sure if they will sell direct, you may need to go through a supplier. You need to be VERY SPECIFIC when you order. Year, make and model plus herringbone pattern.
First guy I ordered from argued it was not correct, took my order and had a plaid pattern drop shipped. I ate the return shipping. Second one came with the correct pattern but for a hardtop. (The one in the pictures). Spare tire mount hole is different then a convertible but I'm using it anyways. Tired of dealing with A**holes and morons.
I found the luggage in a junk/antique shop in Michigan. Great place for my cleaning/detail items.
