No offense to anybody here. The mistake that is often made is!
If $2500 is considered a runaway price and this car is not valued by C body owners at $2500?
If said value is only $1000-$1500 then it puts the car into premium demo derby car price range.

Good running 360 M/T $500-$800 easy
Wheels and tires $350-$500
Misc parts resold ???
Scrap car body,radiator,etc.$300

Don't be shocked when that's where the car winds up.

I never put too much stock in the asking price on lower end cars. As said, $1000 to $1500 does put it into derby price range, so a slightly inflated price may discourage those buyers.

Then there's the guys looking for cheap transportation that don't have any money and tend to be general PITA. $2500 won't translate down to $750 very easily with "payment arrangements".

$2500? Might not sell at that price, but it might appeal to someone not as knowledgeable that reads a lot into the "rare" claim. It's also a starting point. You can always come down in price, but you can't go up.

Personally, I think the car is either a "drive it like it is" as a kind of cool beater/daily driver or it's a parts car. Either way, the real value is whatever they sell it for.
