What a fresh paint job can do to your car ... At least, the fender tag is there! This is what I can make from it right now:

12
KT[9] C [H]41 Y14 END
KT[9] A2X9 $X[9] [4]22 C6064$
[E5]7 D34 PL41 K4D 211767

[] indicate conjectures based on other fender tags I've seen, $ indicates "not the slighest idea". Correct me if I'm wrong!

With codes KT9 "Dark Chestnut Metallic" and A2X9 "Vinyl Bench Seat - Black" you now know the original body colour and seat trim. The interior colour, $X[9], was probably also black. [4]22 is the Scheduled Production Date, April 22, 1974. It was a car built to Canadian specs, as the two C's show. And [H]41, as it probably reads, is the standard heating system. Y14: the car was sold to an order. But nothing about special order, so I was wrong there.

There is a French member, @Seb'74, who will want to know more about your heating system installation, see his thread on that subject.

wonderful. Ty for the info. I will contact him a bit later today as soon as i get to my desktop pc.

As for the interior - i am almost sure that it was black, since the lower parts of door panels are untouched and black.
As for the paint job... it is awful unfortunately in many aspects, but I bought the car with it is already done like that.

UPD: I've checked all the info about trim provided above and found some differences in my real vehicle. I wonder what could mean the following:

L4wWXUnoWXg.jpg

This strange chrome thing in the middle of the roof.

b_3otPrTfdE.jpg

The hood ornament. It is for some reason from Charger but there is a faсtory hole for it. I thought that ornament was only a feature of Gran Coupe / Sedan vehicles, but mine does have it.

Chrome around tail lights. Again it is strange since Fury I should be without these chrome elements. BTW what is the part number for PLYMOUTH label for the gasoline door?

You're correct in saying that it doesn't show in the trim info in post #6. But here is some contradicting evidence.

A drawing from the 1974 sales brochure:

And the tail of a 1974 Fury Police (those were based on the Fury I):

What Fury III and Gran Sedan/Coupe added on the tail was the horizontal bright moulding along the lower edge of the fuel filler door.

It looks interesting. And it seems that police car presented inside the link has the black interior colour. The same could be inside of my vehicle in its former days.
There are 3 more '74 Furies including gran coupe and suburban wagon that are still alive in the local classic community. If there is an interest I will post some more photos of them.

I sent some parts to the owner of this. He said it was a US Ambassador car. Has a Russian diesel drivetrain.

take a piece of paper and lay it over that fender tag then take a pencil and hold it sideways and scratch over the tag and transfer the letters onto the paper.

Marty Mopar, thanks for the proposal of your NOS hood ornament. I'll keep that in mind.

71Polara383, I think I know that car. It was found in some barn a couple of years ago. I do not know what's going on with it right now. The owner(s) planned to swat the engine to something more authentic... no more info unfortunately.

BTW, the one of my digital local friends has the Fury 74 as well. I didn't meet him in person yet, but from what I saw, the trim level and most of the specs could be almost like those presented on my vehicle.

Yes, that black Fury looks very similar to yours, the heating system included! But luckily you have less rust!

When you ever get to see the car in person, take a look at the outside mirrors. Yours seem to be a bit off. And please take a picture of its fender tag!

What keeps me wondering is the radio in your car, with those wheel knobs. Seems to be something more associated with Fuselage C-bodies.

The owner of black fury promised to check his tag as soon as possible. Unfortunately, it wont be asap:-( All he can provide by now is the vin number - PL41K4D166197
As for the mirrors: my vehicle has something strange instead. Mirrors are really important for the daily driving here, so I've already bought the right one from Chrysler '74 on the Ebay. Is it true that the right mirrors were optional and were installed only on the models with the upper trim?
As for the left mirrors as far as I understood there are 2 styles of them. The manual mirror looks a but different and has differences with a remote one. But my right mirror has the s/n 3695866.

Here is the picture of the ordered mirror.

I didnt find the left and manual analogue for it. So I wobder what is better - to buy a manual one and it will be a bit different, or install the remote one somehow. My door panels have no holes for the remote control... so I need a sort of advice on that...
I will do more interior photos in a couple of hours and check the look of the radio. It will be interesting to check its origins. Thanks for the info as always.

UPD - dash/radio photos:

at the bottom of the dash there's a strange installment with a cassete player. No idea why it is there.

L_3RX70UdWI.jpg

And the right corner of the dash with airvent plug.

p.s. the paint job of my car is only looks good. If you get closer it is much worse. And the floor of the car demands much more skilful welding work. Its current form made in a form to sell me a car as quick as possible.

Your radio will be #288103 AM Radio, like this one. I wonder who put it there, the factory or somebody else?

As to the mirrors you are right, no optional right outside mirror was installed, otherwise it would have shown up on the fender tag. And you are also right in wanting to have one anyway. At least, I'm very happy to have one on mine.

A manual left outside mirror is more befitting a Fury I. I was going to write "it will be easier to find", but a quick online search reveals that at the moment remote mirror offers abound. I can imagine that a remote mirror can also make do for a manual one, not the other way around.

Thank you for the link. I plan to buy the left mirror in the few days. To be honest I'm almost sure that it would be the remote one.
There's a question why the radio in my Plymouth is from the different year of production. To be honest, I am not sure that it is possible to answer this question by now. What is the part number of the original radio, BTW?

If there's still some room for entertainment here and the content of this thread remains interesting, I'll add some random but related info.

My dreamcar is still Imperial Sedan '73, but since there are none known in local community and Russian customs regulations are still in the segment of overbudget me at this point of life, my path to owning a c-body is about 7-10 years old. The first couple of years were just a theoretical idea to get a c-body, but in the last 3-4 years it became more real.

WkJDEs-GKV4.jpg

In 2016 I found out that there was a Newport coupe '72 with Soviet import for sale. The vehicle was around 2000+ km from me in the North region plus it had a KAMAZ (a russian truck) diesel + mechanical transmission instead of original powertrain. In 2016 I wasn't ready for the long journey and restoration due to the budget, so.... the Newport was later bought by my friend (Chrysler Newport Full Size на DRIVE2.RU - here is the link to his blog. there you can find more pictures. However, there's no ENG text, sorry). To be honest, I'm glad that he bought it and already returned there the Mopar powertrain. The car has a chance to live in the hands of good owner. In other words, 2016-2017 went unsuccessful for me to own a c-body but I didn't lost a hope...

Does anybody know what is the proper decision for a radiator and what aftermarket manufactuter offers a good choice?
While browsing ebay, summitracing etc I didn't find any replacement options that wil bel a 100% good option. Was my search a bad one or there's a problem to find something similar to the factory produced radiator?
The second thing is that my vehicle didn't have a fan shroud so I was able to found one. The picture of it posted below. According to the seller note it was dismounted from another 74' mopar. So now I'm trying to understand would it be possible to find something similar to the stock radiator which will fit the fan shroud or I will have to do a sort of customization and the ordered fan shroud won't be needed at all and it was useless purchasing.
If anybody has an info on that I'd be grateful.
Thanx

Hood ornaments on Formals were installed on header panel, never on the hood.

The passenger mirror you have will only match visually with a remote driver mirror.

The passenger mirror remote control goes under the dash under the centre vents.

Thanks that's a useful comment. I wonder who pierced my hood to install that Charger ornament. I'd better remove it when the car is ready for the driving
