Long shot but I'm looking for an original, working AM/FM radio for 71 Sport Fury as pictured.

I believe I have one. I will have look as to where I put it. Unsure as to if it works or not.
I remember it has some cut wires. $50

You are seeking one that would be non-stereo then?
I wondered why there is no fader switch/thumbwheel next to the A/C controls. I guess it would be there if that radio was orignal to the car.

According to the 1971 Fury price list, all AM/FM radios were stereo radios.

I was aware that was true for Dodge models but I wasn't sure whether the same applied to Furys since I only have the Dodge data book and not one for the Plymouth (they do use the same instrument panels).

John, I may have one. The radio in the picture that you posted is a 72 - 73 radio. 71's used a thumbwheel radio.

I had heard that all 71 s used a thumb wheel radio but when I searched and viewed 71 s, I saw that 90% had this style radio.

You are 2 weeks too late, bought this off a member here.

The one above is the style of knob that I have. I pulled it out of a 69 ply,but was not original to car. I will look around for it.

Hopefully the SGT can supply what you need. If the easy way falls thru I can go see if Jose will let me yank this one. He’s trying to sell the whole car without much luck and so far (2-3yrs?) has resisted breaking it up.
