My restoration on my 1970 300 continues very well but I‘m still missing some parts that are usually broken, missing or worn. Help me bringing my rust free 300 back to its glory. :thumbsup:

I‘m looking for:

- Dash pad black
- Wheel house trim (aluminum) one set or at least front right and rear left
- door pull/handle black
- C-pillar Chrysler emblem

Nick,

Do you have part numbers for the wheel house (wheel opening moldings) and the Chrysler emblem? Providing that information would help someone like me to check with some vendors. If you have the wheel house moldings you may need to have them refinished and repaired if they can be saved.

I think that it is going to be unlikely that someone has a good used dash pad given the popularity of your car. I would suggest that you post a wanted ad here for "good core" dash pad in the U.S. and then have it shipped to ABC Moparts (www.abcmoparts.com) and have them restore a dash pad for you. If they won't ship to Germany, I am sure that someone here like myself would ship it for you but shipping is going to be very expensive.

On the door pull, if you are looking for a door pull strap, SMS in Oregon U.S. will make you a new one if you send them your old one.

Good luck,

Bill

Hello Nick,

I think you should contact Bob from abc moparts Seat Backs Hinge Covers | ABC Moparts for the door pulls. They reproduce them in very high quality! As Bill said, they need the old parts to do this. Price is $ 195 + $ 39 shipping to Germany, but worth every Cent IMHO

@FURYGT

I will look what part number these parts have. I have now sent a email to ABCMoparts regarding my dash pad. My core is still in good condition. I will check out SMS too !

@ 300L

Danke dir ! I have already shipped parts with usaimportservice.

If you can't find door pulls and its not going to be a trailer queen, you can do what I did. Any luxury car from 1965-1985 will work with a little cutting. My door pulls are from a 1978 Lincoln. $30 at junkyard.

I used reinforced bondo on an old cracked dash on a 1968 GTO I used to have, then bought a piece of black leather and glued and stretched it on..no one noticed and it lasted without any bumps until I sold it about 10yrs later. $40

The idea with the door pulls is good! Thank you.

I will further keep looking for a good original dash pad. For me it is worth to wait and search.

@FURYGT
I eventually found the part numbers in the parts catalog.

Wheel moldings: 3481784-5 and 3481930-1 front and rear
Emblem: 3444196-7

I did some searching but came up empty. Suggest doing an internet search with the part numbers at least on a weekly basis.
