Bring your Mopar to Carlisle in July.

2800 cars and the biggest swap meet in the world.

1971 is the featured year and 50th year of the 426 Hemi.

20% discount for Showfield Pass through January 4th. That's $52 for a $65 ticket that will get your Mopar and 2 people on the Showfield for the entire event. Every little bit helps for more parts and beer.

My health has improved quite a bit so I plan on being their Friday and Saturday.

Already registered, hoping to get windshield sticker in the coming months, looking forward to meeting you all!

You sure Bob as I thought 50 years of the Hemi was in 2014, am I wrong? Regardless my family and I plan to be there that is when we get a hotel room which we still have yet to do, but with what car still has to be determined. Glad to hear you are doing well healthwise as it has been a challenging year for all of us, and you will be able to make it this year. Hopefully Jeff (@cantflip) can make it as well

1971 would have been the last year of the second generation Hemi. So, I guess, celebrating the last Hemi engines of that era?

The race Hemi engine was in a limited number of race cars starting in 1964 and not available to the general public in street form until 1966. The last production Gen 2 Hemi (426) was produced in a production car was 1971.

Hey Bob. FYI, the 426 Hemi came around in 64 and although it was pretty much a race engine it was street legal and anyone could order one. 71 would be the last year for a production 426 Hemi.

Hopefully this crap settles down. I have my same spaces as usual, just really want to be there this year. Felt cheated last year but had to play it safe for the wife.

I just enjoy walking around and talking to FCBO friends and looking for my 69 SuperBee and 73 Ralleye Challenger. Maybe someday my old cars will show up.....LOL!

I will be going again, had such a relaxing time last year. Loved driving out there and back, meeting members and buying more than I budgeted in the swap. I didn't even care about the ticket I got on the way home, as I was savoring all the fun I had just experienced. New car this year, I'm curious to find out which one myself!

My room has been booked since July. Now that I can actually walk up and down stairs 4 months after surgery, by then I should be able to walk the show field.

Just booked Country In & Suites in Mechanicsburg. They claim I got the last Queen Room. . . Comfort Inn nearby on Welsley is already fully booked. Must be that Jersey crowd. I think room reservations are gonna be tight, since there is probably a lot of pent up demand coming from the Chryslers at Carlisle people who missed the show last year.

Bumping this to the top... Just a couple days left on the holiday 20% off sale.

$52 to register your car, gets you and a passenger in for the whole duration of the show. Can't beat it.

I haven't gotten a room yet, but did register the 300.

Thanks, John. I'm good to go with both 300s. I got a room at Country Inn & Suites - Mechanicsburg.
