Same dome light as Challenger SE and Barracuda Grand Coupe.
Needless to say they are pricey thanks to the E body crowd.
Good luck!!

Do you need the bulb or the complete dome lamp and lens?

What year Challenger SE and Barracuda Gran Coupe is the same? The 71 300s don't have anything but a plain white cover with no switches or other gee-gaws on it like the cars you mentioned generally did at least in 1970/71.

Here is the style that was used on the Challenger SE and Barracuda Gran Coupe. These e-body models with the overhead console ONLY used the dome lamp with the switch. Part #3488441

There is another version of the dome lamp WITHOUT the switch.
This style was NOT used in e-bodies.
Because not correct for e-bodies, they can be found much cheaper than the other light pictured in the above post.

Believe this is the one that @saforwardlook references in post #5 as being used in some c-bodies.
(someone with more knowledge on c-bodies can confirm application as my experience is with e-bodies)

One more difference with the e-body overhead console dome lamp, is that a correct one uses a lens with "ribs' and not the smooth or frosted lens.

Also, the e-body style lens is available as reproduction from Tony's Parts. They are really nice !!

It was NOT the factory installed one used in e-bodies but does fit the overhead console. Know this because individuals have used them in e-bodies when the correct version couldn't be found.

Thank you for your answers, I am not looking for the original dome light, even an adaptable one would suit me.

Thanks SpaceWagon for this photo that shows the correct dome lamp/lens for the 1971 Chrysler 300s. The part number shown on the box in your photo is 2947928.
