I bought this car as a non-running project without a title in September 2020.
I'm testing the waters to see if I can sell this car as is or if I should continue the rebuild process to a more finished project.
It's not too far from being ready for the road while the rebuild continues.
Located in Houston, Texas

(Pros)
New Bonded Texas Title
Runs, Drives and Stops Now
New - Gas Tank, Sender, Master Cylinder, Rubber Brake Lines, Front Wheel Cylinders, Plugs, Wires, Dist Cap, Rotor, Condenser, Radiator Hoses, Air Cleaner Dog Dish, Battery & Cables, Rebuilt Carb, Freeze Plugs, Valve Cover Gaskets, Wheel Studs, New Looking Brake Shoes.

(Cons)
Bad Tires, holding air
Rust in Floors, Trunk Lid, Hood
Interior Needs Complete Upholstery Kit
Needs Convertible Top, Frame Works
Cooling System needs Flush, Radiator Trans Lines Blocked Off, Trans Cooler Added

This is a Very Solid car, the frame and bottom side are in very good condition.
The Engine runs very good and inside the valve covers is super clean, no sludge.
The Trans goes into all gears without slipping.
You can see more info and pics in my garage.
If you are looking for a pretty rare Convertible with a 375 Hp TNT 440 under the hood then this may be the car for you.
Cash Price $7,500 OBO
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year

In Virginia, the state does not allow you to drive with holes in the floor. It wouldn't be near road worthy here.
Is Texas different?

I was thinking that the floors should be fixed before driving it very far. Oh Texas ain't no Nanny state, so you can drive what ya got. Yahoo !

In TX, with the exhaust system having to end behind the rear floor boards, holes are something that generally is not worried about, IF they can't be seen. But if you put your foot through the holes under the floor mats, then it might be a good deal to put something solid over them.

Red & white ‘68 300 convertible with some great options? Picture that one done:wideyed:...

is this a for sale ad or just a BS session?

You’ve been on FCBO for a total of two posts before this one, and you call the mods over friendly banter? Must be the Christmas spirit

This said , back to the topic.

Use the Survey to offer your Opinion on value.

It’s difficult to say without knowing more details about your work. In your garage description, you said that you replaced the freeze plugs “that you could get to” —> did you get to all of them? You also mentioned that you replaced the tank with a “B-body tank” —> why?

it is great to have work already done, but one needs to know more. If you could post links to threads where you describe what you did and why, then it’d be easier to answer.

ooooH so u r a gold member with a lot of posts here so that makes you an "authority" If people or YOU want to BS about cars..do it in the right forum..not a "for sale ad"...I have a few posts on A and B body but I don't rag on anyone for the amount of posts they submit. Chineese proverb.."better to be silent and thought stupid rather than open mouth and prove it"
