Beautiful car--period! AM/FM radio, too. And THAT long alterntor adjustment bracket, too!

Looks like the bids are getting more serious as time progresses.

I'd much rather have that car than a similar Cadillac!

Very Nice and well detailed execpt wrong engine color.

Zero trunk pics. Also, if it’s that beautiful and they worked on the air conditioning, why didn’t they finish the job and get the front blower to work?
Not only do I agree with your comment on the front blower not working, but the seller states that after all repairs done to the A/C system, it remains untested. Really? That sounds like a load of BS, who spends big bucks on an A/C
repair and doesn’t turn it on before you drive it home, or any time after that. I do think the car is a beauty.

It's a beauty to be sure, and for all its minor faults, something to be proud of.

I note, in addition to the incorrect engine colour, that the Autopilot servo is painted when it should not be, and the battery I believe should be a Group 27 and not a Group 24. I'm not sure what's up with the AC, but to me, AC systems (non ATC) are not that difficult to understand, just a pain in the butt to access componentry under the dash. Probably needs something under the dash and the person restoring it had reached the end of their patience in refurbishing the car... I know it would bug me to no end if I'd gone to that length and the last thing to do was charge up the AC, and the system breaks down... such is the life of the vintage car owner.

Something I would do in the efforts to be as safe as possible is to upgrade to a dual circuit braking system, even though it would not be original.

QUITE nice, and I think I have seen it before in person at a show, maybe Carlisle. A few things are red that weren't originally, but far worse crimes have been committed, and if the trunk is as nice as the other pics imply, nothing to sneeze at either. Interior is fantastic, red carpet and all........ Hope it does well.

The trunk doesn't look bad. It has the original cardboard trim bits and the jack decal, along with the spare, hold-down and the cover. I think $17,500 is probably the high end for this. The heater is by-passed on my convertible. The air blew cool last year, but my fan switch is inoperative now. If that dual-core is bad, that's a grand, easily for R&R. There are a couple of places that have that core (for A/C cars only) for around $600.00. Climate control gets pricey, real quick, as we all know. I'd figure a thousand bucks for the parts and doing the work oneself, or double that for a decent shop to do the work. Still, for under $20K all-in (for me, anyway, were it mine!). Still...my yellow '66 ragtop, this black '65, and a dark blue '64 LeBaron coupe, would make for a great D-body garage with all three body styles and years represented.

Maybe a try at both of the big-*** lotteries this weekend...?

The seller is well-known on BaT, and has sold nothing but top-quality cars over the past few years.

I am looking for some Turquoise Engine Enamel in the spray can and it's getting hard to find imo. Summit has it,but price has gone up since i last bought it ten years ago.shipping is a ***** from them too.Not a lot of choices anymore.
