Didn't realize that the Imperial version of that steering wheel had woodgrain inserts. Will be great when it's back like it needs to be. Hope it finds a good home at that price.

Been listed for quite a while now..
Left side was smashed rather hard.
The left windows do not appear to seal at the top.

It's not as noticable on black steering wheels, which most are. I didn't realize Chrysler was still doing the translucent wheels in '69. I would wager that's the last year they did.

Side note - chop off the top and bottom of the wheel to become Knight Rider!

This is a shot of the interior of my former '69. I had a LeBaron and didn't get the wood inserts, and this guy has a Crown and got them! What gives?

And it only has a half ring, unlike the green car, and all other '69 Imperials I've seen. I would guess less than one percent of '69 Imperials came with red interior, which may have meant a few shortcuts were taken. Great looking car!

I sent a mail an got an answer.
I ask for details about the repairs, like close pictures and he never answered back.

Maybe it wasn't available with the tilt/telescoping wheel?
The wheels are totally different depending on whether it was the fixed column or the tilt/telescope version.
Turquoise car has fixed, red one has tilt/tel. The fixed column wheel is much nicer, and the t/t wheel was the same as used down the line in other CPD C bodies. I would like the better wheel on the t/t column, but it won’t work.

I’ve been watching this ad on CL for a while and I’ve been curious about the repairs and misaligned windows. I wonder how bad the damage is underneath the doors.

I got a friend who owns a body repair shop so It can be repaired but I would see what was done first.. if someone can have the infos...
