The dealership plate suggests that it was in South Dakota before it's time in Florida...

Survivor car (...) Factory Power Windows (all 6)
CE27G9C290057 combines a rare EA4 exterior with an E2B7 (E2D B7) blue bench interior. This combination is similar to that of @Cags70PolaraConvert's 1970 Polara 'vert (EA4 L2B3). @1968Fever and I find this specific color combo interesting, as Chrysler's EA4 paint has a green tinge to it -- see the before/after pics of @Dga26 's superbly restored Sport Fury for example.

As for "survivor":

--> the Newport 'vert in the present ad was built in June 1969 with a 383-2 (E61 code), so the 4-barrel carb is not original.

--> I do not see the P31 option code for power windows on either the tag or the build sheet, what am I missing? (P31 appears on the tag of CM27K9C100409, a 1969 300 'vert, so call me puzzled).

--> In the same vein, I don't see P41 power door locks on the tag or the sheet. How come?

--> The N88 code for cruise control is not on the tag either, but perhaps it is in the hidden part of the build sheet (see the fender tag and build sheet of PH23L9D289850 -- @shooter65's loaded 1969 Fury).

That's one beautiful car!
Sure doesn't look like it has a green tinge to the paint.
The interior doesn't look like B7. Looks lighter.

That looks like they took the green tinge out and put a blueish tinge in. A4 silver has both a green and blueish tint. The green dominates though. I, like everyone else fought with the idea of changing the tint of the color. I chose to keep it correct. I’m glad I did

Yea I wouldn't of promoted this one here, obvious a flip or could be most likely scam with using the South Dakota pictures.
"listing for a friend" is worrisome IMO.
Spammed to several car groups on FB, I didn't see any chatter but being "Listed 12 weeks ago in Daytona Beach, FL" I ain't gonna spend time sifting through all the paff. Phone number search didn't turn up anything significant.

God I love that car

Too bad If they didn’t get the paint right.

What plant is C? LA? Some didn’t list all option on the tag.

The first thing to do is confirm the sheet and tag go to the same car. I don't think they do.

Is N88 even coded on a 69 Jefferson tag? I don't have any examples that show it was.

Why do you suppose a person would load up a Newport like this? If someone really wanted luxury why not get a 300 or New Yorker?

Weren’t NYs available as convertibles? Edit couldn’t find after a quick search so I guess not.

How much cheaper were Newport’s than 300 converts.

It could have been a sales bank car.

~$600

When I first saw the FT I thought it odd to be so bare for a car they claim has a lot of options.

For some reason, my gut tells me this car got a bunch of 'factory' options installed later on in its life, perhaps a loaded NY donor car was combined into it.

Maybe its the lighting, but this area of the steering column almost looks black.
And I realize they are different pieces of plastic, but the radio, HVAC and dash bezel plastic look like they are each from a different place and time.

Something just seems odd.

Scoped the other pics, and yeah, that column sure looks black. And the headlight Sentinel sensor is on the dash, but shouldn't the control be here on the dash? It was in my '70 300.

Hmmm, but every tilt tele I’ve seen has been black. Hope someone else can confirm. Have to agree with @tallhair the guy should have just turned the page and checked off “300”. Late build car, I’m thinking it was ordered that way, wouldn’t sales bank cars be earlier builds?

Not necessarily. There were a lot of late built sales bank cars.
