1959 Imperial, picture taken in 1960 behind the Iron curtain in downtown Prague, Czechoslovakia during the communism time. I guess such Imperial was outside USA or another embassy budget, so perhaps some tourist from the other side come over? Seeing this in such a time, had to be more than seeing UFO

I do not see wheel lip moldings on the car in question, so it must be a base Polara (not a Custom). @71Polara383 and @polara71 can confirm.
As for the grille, it looks like this one for sale on eBay, P/N 3442103 "for the base model":
Perhaps longtime Michigan residents (or past residents) like @detmatt or @BIGBARNEYCARS can tell us more about the registration plate on that GY9 1971 Polara?

There's 2 different 71 Polara grilles? I dont think so. The one on the pic is lacking the emblem. But it does show the superior Polara grill in great detail.
