Oh how I wish this car was an R/T.
That is one sweet car with a great price.

The Coronet 500 model looks very similar to an R/T - they use the SAME cool Tailpanel and Taillights as an R/T
Plus all the extra chrome dress-up. In fact except for the standard dash in this car, it probably has more options than some R/T's

The only real difference between an R/T is the standard engine size being a 440 and the rear bumble bee stripes

IMHO the fact that it's not an R/T or Superbee makes it more attractive. In 1970 Dodge made (I think) 3 Coronet Deluxes (total cheapo model- probably with rubber carpets) with the N-code 383 and a 4spd. THAT would be the ultimate in my opinion.
There are plenty of '70 R/T's and Superbees around. It's my hope that whoever ends up with this car restores it per the fender tag. Super rare and super cool!

I’m sure members here and FBBO would appreciate seeing the fender tag if you could post it.

I didn’t see it in the pics posted at FBBO.

How close to Alliance are you?

Alliance, OH is about 60-70 miles away.

Are you in that area ? (noticed that your profile has PA listed)

Also, @QQE, tried to send a PM but your mailbox is full

Wow, they always have had very good quality stuff. I've bought a few things from them.

Sorry for the slight thread derail. Had to comment on that....

I took a look at all the pics yesterday and this looks like a great project.

A friend has a similar car, a '68 Sport Satellite 383 4 speed car, that I've lusted over since he bought it. It's basically a 383 version of a GTX, same trim level etc. Something you just don't see at every car show.

Good luck with the sale!
