Am I missing something here? Yes the 70 GT is a very rare and highly coveted and it has a console and seems to be unmolested and numbers matching
but I don´t see why this should be gone in a heartbeat at 22k.
One can always debate about triple green cars, some like it some don´t. This one will require extensive work and money to be invested.
@JPMODL had a 70 GT for sale earlier this year in mint condition only asking 4K more. See here
Comparing these two cars there´s no way I see 22k for this specimen

Gotta start somewhere.

I honestly don't know why you'd put OBO in an ad. Isnt that really a given?

im struggling with this myself - i have mine for 10k and assumed someone would 'obo' me but nop.

i figure on this car if you hit the guy in the face with $14k- 15k hed help ya load it on the trailer.

You put that in the ad because you know you’re asking too much but are motivated to sell.

Understood...
But everyone who's not dead knows you offer less than asking. If for some crazy reason you are firm then you put firm.

It should be a non-ac 22”, pn 2998969.
Yea I guess I'm jaded as having 440 cop cars that they all had the big radiator, My 1976 Gran Fury Brougham had a 360ci and A/C so big radiator, same for the 1968 Fury III 318 with A/C. Only little radiator that I can remember was my 1968 Fury Fastop without A/C and a 318 in it.

You would think being a GT it would have a big radiator with the 440.

.

22" radiator was standard on cars without A/C. This SFGT is low optioned, manual drum brakes, no A/C. Rotted rear window channel and lower quarters, missing under dash trim panel. Trunk floor is also likely very rusty. Appears to also have rust on the roof seams and the lower part of the front fenders. There is no way this car is accurately priced at $22k.

The issue with the SFGT in the ad is that it is priced as a solid #2 car which it clearly is not. At $22k it should be road ready with no rust and passable paint. There is well in excess of $20k worth of rust repair, paint and interior work to get this car to the asked for price and that is before any talk of other mechanical repairs.
If that is your SFGT posted with the no pain no gain comment it looks beautiful.
