The comment about taking technology from America is too late, the Europeans already have it, And they own 100% of the company.

I suspect that if American politicians got involved all Stellantis need do is transfer production to Europe then close all American facilities. Even if attempts were made to stop tooling being removed the dies could be recreated in Europe and production resumed.
 
nice that he wants to help the employees but his proposed name doesn't exactly roll off the tongue. as far as keeping it in the u.s. , i'm sure all of the files could be uploaded and sent to china in 15 minutes. it would be too expensive to disassemble and ship any tooling or equipment overseas.
 
The Dodge Chrysler brand is all but dead. Being kept on life-support by being bounced around and bought out from company to company. Their only real success are a couple of good selling brands that I’m sure all have a term limit. Don’t get me wrong I’m a fan of the brand. But it’s a sign of the times.
 
Step 1 move the company out of the country
Step 2 move tooling and production to Southern US to get out of UAW control.
Step 3 profit
