Pretty nice 6-Window sedan. Some new paint and TLC should make it a nice car. Wonder why the air cleaner is off? Needs a good home.

Use to have one, mine was Black. Wife gives me crap all time but selling it. I should've listen to her back then. Hmmm

Early production... clear tail lights. Will have isolated torsion bars also. Seems quite common for sedans to have all power options.

I believe that all '65 NYs had the rear clear tail/stop light lenses, which required a "filter package w/gasket" over the clear bulbs, to turn the light emitted "red" . A one year "feature" of 1965 New Yorkers.

It was the front headlight covers that had issues with condensate collection and were fixed under a TSB, back then, from what I saw in print back then.

Respectfully,

It was only early production. The housing looks like this...

I had read there was a high scrap rate for the molding of the clear taillight, so they were changed to the standard red colored plastic during the model run. The chrome and trim look excellent, the glass is nice, the interior would clean up nice, what the heck happened to the paint?

I can tell you that the clear lenses don't seem to have the "substance" of the red ones. Handling mine, I tread very carefully.
