I did this a few years ago and thought I lost the pics but found them. I didnt have the original metal speaker cover but I did have this plastic cover from a sedan and epoxy and a hot knife to slice through plastic.

So I cut out the center section and found some speaker grill. The holes are bigger than stock but I was on a roll so whatever.

Then I cut out a piece of wood and screwed the grill to it and added mounts to the plastic bezel.

Then I decided I wanted a different emblem.

I then painted the plastic in gloss black and used contact cement to add chrome vinyl material. After all that work this was the weakest link. It wasn't very stretchy and I wasnt patient enough. I will redo this one day I did have to fab up a mount to the back of the seats. But it has withstood hot sun for hours.

“get ‘er done”!
I like the contrast of the chrome emblem on the black background.
Better lookin than the factory grilles.
