Haven't made a good Peterbilt since 1995.
They can look good on the outside of dressed properly, and those stupid 389 light pods removed. This is why I'm in a KW now, dash sits up and looks back at me, ventless windows that don't look cheap, stick does not beat your phone charger all to death because dash is designed wrong, (even my '85 359 did not do this and phone chargers hadn't even been thought of).
If you want any longevity and fuel mileage out of a truck it must be deleted.

Not if you get caught it don't.
Ontario has Etest and smoke cops running around. If the see so much as a whisper of smoke, they pull you over and hook up to the ECM and tell it to do a burn. No burn, no pass go, collect huge fine and call a tow truck.
I know a guy that deleted an ISX with a 6NZ and it cost him $60K to put it back in service.

Sounds le New Jersey with their smoke cops on the overpasses. If you were running a Mack they pulled you over. Reason they pull you over is they sniffed your stinky truck from the overpass, yeah right. $$$$$ is all it was.
Sure, if they plug in they are going to find something. Do they write paper for the multiple check engine codes and been driving around derated for 6 months or is it just a single focus. This is why I stay local. Not that my truck needs deleted, but who needs the hassle.

It would be nice to have them on our side. They just don't want to break that mold, which I can see in some regards. They are leaving alot on the table IMO, but what the hell do I know about it.
