Hey guys, a question just for those who are running these heads, what rocker set up are you using, mainly for road cars, what brand, what material rockers, steel or aluminium etc.
Anyone running stock rockers on the stealth heads with a mild cam?
Curious what works, what clears the springs and so on.....
Thanks

All 440 source stuff, aluminum rockers, shafts, custom hydraulic roller cam, big springs, custom smith brothers pushrods.

I'm running a stock ticker setup with a .484 Purple Shaft cam, and I'm using Mopar Performance finned aluminum valve covers.

A buddy is running stock rockers and a similar cam, and I want to say he's using stock valve covers. I'll double check on that, I know he was going for a stock look, so he painted the heads.

So stealth heads with stock rockers? Can you please confirm

:lol:I intend getting something better but just not straight away if I don't have to. I've built it up but not fired yet as I'm waiting on plug leads

tti headers?

Did you go through the heads or slap them on like I did?

I'm running Stealths with stock rockers ad a Comp XE268H cam. Under stock valve covers. I ran these heads on my 451 until it blew up. Then, I had a machine shop check them and they found the valve guides loose after only 4k miles. Highly recommend them being checked by a shop before use.
