My 65 Sport Fury has that same chrome strip. Not sure if 66 or other years had them. Most cars I see have a vinyl covered strip. Anyway, I have no help for you. Sorry.

I didn’t realise there is mounting pieces but if so then hopefully them too. I’d settle to find a strip to start with. Cheers Terry

Nice 65. I’ve seen a few with it but mostly without. I just figured it was a 66 fury trim someone might have added. Yours looks awesome.

I may still have one of those along with the mounting pieces. I got it from a 65 Sport Fury to put on my own 65 Sport Fury convertible. If nothing else, I can post some pics of the mounting pieces.

Well, I found my stainless strips (I have two identical ones-one 65 and one 66-).
I thought the attachment bars were with them, but apparently not. I will keep looking. If I recall correctly, they were metal U channels, with the thickness just enough to cover the screws that mounted them. Also, there are 'teeth' on them (like the metal pieces that hold the bottom edge of the roof) that gripped through the top to hold the plastic window in place. It wasn't a one piece mount, but about 5 or 6 short pieces.
