Looks like this the intermediate of the regular Grand Cherokee and the upcoming Grand Wagoneer....and I like it...comes with the 3.6 Pentastar or the 5.7 Hemi, they're also gonna make a plug-in hybrid version soon...wonder if they'll make a TrackHawk version...

I hear the Grand Wagoneer is going to be close to 100G's so I don't think it will affect the Durango sales. The Grand Cherokee I don't know.

Wow. A jeep for $100k.

As for the designs, they look good overall, slight European look to them. My only complaint is with the gaping "maw" on the front bumpers. I know this is a current trend but still don't get it. I'm a steel/chrome bumper guy anyways so no matter what, it's fubar.

I completely agree. Have you seen the prices on the new Wrangler and Jeep Trucks, or just new vehicles in general? I think the 392 Jeep is said to be approaching the $100k point. No thanks. Don't put me down for buying any of that ****. I'll stick to buying older vehicles.

Trackhawk all tarted up can reach $100k, but that's a beast beyond most of us, competing with the best.

To me the new design is ok, but I don't like the pushed in grill. It looks like it got in an accident already without getting into one, but it does indeed look better than the Wagoneer. With the Wagoneer you might as well drive a Caddy Escalade, they kind of look the same.

honest question. does anyone actually LIKE the looks of newer vehicles or do they like them in comparison to other current offerings?
personally i don't care for the looks of any vehicles in the last 20 years. some are ok but nothing i would go out of my way to get.
i have no understanding of aero , plastic, info-tainment , vehicles over laden with electronics and emissions.

Jeep is the Chrysler Group's new mass market/upscale brand. The new GC looks good. IF the Durango sales decline, I suspect it will be because of the dated styling more than anything else.

Who'd have ever thunk that Jeep would ever be selling against $100K Escalades? Much less BMW X5s! Thanks for posting those pictures.

Your reaction is the same as mine. I prefer the two versions of the regular 2 row Grand Cherokees. The Latitude comes off better than any of the front ends to my eyes..............

I am also not a fan of diamond patterned leather - it looks old school but it seems Mercedes Benz brought that look back again about 5 years ago so now everyone has to have it. I would opt for the cloth and leather instead given only those two choices.

I concur on the diamond-pattern leather. Reminds me of an old upholstery shop pattern in vinyl that was supposed to be "nicer" than no pattern at all, from the '60s or prior. Land Rover has it too.

Not unlike the texture on the center stack surround bezel on the first-gen Cadillac CTS, which looked to be to have been inspired by the backside of a piece of Masonite board. Guess somebody younger might not know what they were looking at?

Enjoy!

I agree on the diamond pattern. Looks like the "tuck and roll" interiors people took their cars down to Tijuana for in the 70's.

I like the new Jeep’s but my first thoughts when I saw the first couple of pics here were Volkswagen and Lincoln as far as similar body design. Not a bad thing as those are the ones that consistently catch my eye on the road these days. I could see myself buying one of these Jeep’s that has low miles in about 10 years.

Here is what we have been told as of this week at the Dealer Release

2022 Wagoneer/Grand Wagoneer to start production Q2 but will be restricted to certain Dealers who have commited to additional Customer Experience Training a la Luxury Brand Levels and to those Dealers who have commited to Jeep Stand Alone Showrooms

2021 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 in limited production (Less than 200 in Canada) and will be the most expensive Wrangler ever made ($90K plus up here)
Durango will be the price leader 3 row plus offering the SRT Performance Models
Unknown if a Trackhawk Jeep will be offered but I expect al least the SRT will be
The most tech ever put into a vehicle will be used in the 2021 GC Models and Wagoneer along with the new Uconnect 5 platform and self driving enhancements

On a good note I have secured a special edition Ram 1500 Regular Cab 4x2 Long Box with a 6 cylinder and 5 speed manual transmission. It is called Old Man with a Hat Special and is priced under $20000
