This car is not mine, just found it on FB and am posting it here…
At the time of posting, this FB listing is 9 hours old.

Looks like they swapped the grille for a '69 one? cuz the rear bumper/ taillights are '71...

Note the absence of side marker lights (which were probably "shaved" when the car got restored or painted over). The car now features a 1969 New Yorker grille.

The body and paint look great! Unfortunately, with all of the other detractions, I can't see him getting anywhere near his asking price. It looks like the tail and hood stripe are vinyl. Then there's the 70's kitchen naugahide interior, again! And giant exhaust with log manifolds, c'mon! The tires aren't great if they're twenty years old.

hopefully the stripes are vinyl and can be peeled off easily.
lot of time and effort went into it this and i applaud him for that.
im not sure about the blue and brown, not my 1st pick.
the black firewall makes me wonder if he's new to mopars.

It does seem like an odd combination, and definitely wouldn't be my first pick either. It does work though. Hopefully the headrests are included. I wonder what the mileage is? And if it was originally blue, with no vinyl top?

Nope. Not vinyl. No peeling them off.

on the part of log manifolds there is only two HP loss then with the so called high performance exhaust manifolds.

It’s a ’71 all right. The rest is not all right. He dumped the stainless side trim, the engine is wrong colour, as is the firewall, the tires are all wrong, and the interior - although correct for a ’71 - oh well. Pass.

I thought they were worth 5-10 HP, and only at high RPM's. What I meant was, pipes that size are of no use. Even with HP manifolds. That engine would have to be making 7-800 horsepower to require exhaust that big, and then, of course, it would need headers of some sort. It was sized the way it was from the factory for a reason. Bigger isn't always better. Back pressure, and stuff. Plus it looks silly, this was a '71 New Yorker, a classy car. Rather than being treated as such, it received the Duster/Dart "muscle" treatment. No offense to the Duster/Dart guy's. I think if he would have done the work he did to this New Yorker, on one of them, he would stand a much better chance of getting his price.

they did a dyno test to compare log vs HP manifolds on mild built engine and that's what they got 1-2 HP. everyone was surprised, Chrysler didn't do there home work on that one.
