I bought this car as a non-running project without a title in September 2020.
I'm testing the waters to see if I can sell this car as is or if I should continue the rebuild process to a more finished project.
It's not too far from being ready for the road while the rebuild continues.
Located in Houston, Texas

(Pros)
New Bonded Texas Title
Runs, Drives and Stops Now
New - Gas Tank, Sender, Master Cylinder, Rubber Brake Lines, Front Wheel Cylinders, Plugs, Wires, Dist Cap, Rotor, Condenser, Radiator Hoses, Air Cleaner Dog Dish, Battery & Cables, Rebuilt Carb, Freeze Plugs, Valve Cover Gaskets, Wheel Studs, New Looking Brake Shoes.

(Cons)
Bad Tires, holding air
Rust in Floors, Trunk Lid, Hood

This is a Very Solid car, the frame and bottom side are in very good condition.
The Engine runs very good and inside the valve covers is super clean, no sludge.
The Trans goes into all gears without slipping.

If you are looking for a pretty rare Convertible with a 375 Hp TNT 440 under the hood then this may be the car for you.

Price Lowered $5,500

Title makes all the difference in a state where the seller is IN a title-required state, and a buyer is also in a title-required state. If you had an actual title in your name, ready to go, I'd be on this in the $4K range. It appears complete, but needs everything touched for a proper build.

I will never, ever touch another car from a title state that has no title. Ever. And that stops more people from buying than anything.

$5K - Interior
$1K - dash work
$1,500 - top and servicing the frame/hydraulics
$5K - finishing floor (trunk, too?) properly
$10K - paint job of any decent quality
$10K - miscellaneous stuff
$5K - rechrome and refinish chrome and trim
$37,500 minimum to get this together right

Plus $4,500 or so to acquire the car, and another $1K for transport.

$42,000

Plus, some states require an inspection AFTER a car is completed BEFORE they'll issue papers on a previously non-titled vehicle!

You really need to get the proper title DONE before you sell. It's a $3K parts car, otherwise. You said yourself you paid $1,200 for the 300.

Thanks for your comments.
I want to correct some of your statements.
Due to Covid It took a month to get an appointment with the dmv. Yesterday I went to the dmv and successfully completed the title transfer into my name. I will receive the clean title in two weeks.
I never said I paid $1,200 for the 300, I did pay $2,250 for the car. Good buy IMO.
If I can't get $5,500 for it then I'll keep it.

@Scott 440 TNT :
Though your poll is already closed, I think your recent asking price of $5,500 is fair...give or take a little...as a buyer I would have voted for $4,500...but maybe truth is in the middle.

Your car is a desirable car, driving and with a clear title.

Thanks for taking the efforts to get it a title: a lot less hastle for anybody involved in a purchase.

Yes: interiour-work is always very expensive and as being the top-of-the-line Chrysler additionally a convertible, there are a lot of little or bigger things you can get lost in $$$-wise if you want it superperfect.

But I guess for a total of 10k one would have this car in a good driver-conditon and could take it from there - if desired - to a rolling-resto.

Good luck in the sale!

BTW: my Fury has been picked up yesterday and is on its way to Houston, TX where it will start its overseas journey to good ol’ Germany.
