04-10-20 Arkansas State Police 109 MPH PIT Maneuver
And in October 2020 they seem to have not learned their lesson 'cuz they upped the game to a 126mph PIT, at least the trooper stopped safely, not so for the recipient (a Dollar Store shoplifter).

California limits PIT manuevers to under 40 mph. Other places don't care, it's kill or maim (not just "stop") the bad guy at whatever expense necessary.

The officer that did the PIT maneuver should be in prison. Pretty justifiable to kill someone for stealing, from a Dollar Store. What's the most expensive thing, $30?

Yea they learned the lesson here in Daytona Beach with a chase with no pit maneuver but some kids ripping up the roads in possibly a stolen car that ended up with them crashing into a innocent driver that was a well known and respected teacher(?) killing him. Big lawsuit followed, policy change after that, if the suspect isn't a armed dangerous murderer etc. end pursuit and let the helicopter take over. I guess Arkansas doesn't have many helicopters heh.
Then there was a period of people just running right off the bat, ie suspended drivers, DUI, but drunks usually crash, it's crazy. We just had a real bad one here involving a wanted ex-con (edit armed carjacking suspect from the Orlando area) just out of prison, long criminal history, license had been suspended for 20+ years, 2 County I-95 high speed chase, U-turn wrong way head on after pursuit called off, 3 dead & 2 kids seriously injured.

Well from what I take from the whole story it was a Mom & kids 'Boosting Ring' from out of state, they were chased out of store for stupid stuff taken, a gun was found in the vehicle, 3 kids are going to prison for life due to being involved in a vehicle homicide, sounds like they were making a Bonnie & Clyde run for the state line on the Interstate, dangerous wrong way driving on local roads escalated it.

But still, 109 and try a PIT maneuver? Is that state still ranked 49th in education, or did they slip back to 50th?

That’s the worst accident involving a pit maneuver that I’ve ever seen.
