I have a 1974 Dodge Monaco that I need to paint some interior panels. The dash and some panels look goldish color and the door panels look light tan? Basically the interior color that was in the Bluesmobile. Any clue where I can get the correct color for the dash and trim panels? Any help greatly appreciated.

DuPont was a paint supplier to the car makers. A paint supply with a chip chart book that goes back that far could well have the "low gloss" interior colors/codes listed. Some would mix normal acrylic lacquer and add "flex agent" to it for soft vinyl trim parts.

Unfotunately, not all panels of the same original color would fade the same. Some tans would become pinkish, for example. Which I suspect is what might have happened on your car, too.

Just some thoughts,

I had a company I found on EBay mix me (3) cans for the interior of my 77 NYB.. I’ll see if I can find the info and post it for you.

These guys. Do your research though to make sure you’re getting the best deal and produce. No complaints with these guys. I sent them a small interior panel piece for color match. Good luck.

Color codes for the different interior colors are in the service manual.
8774paint1 (phone number and internet site) is very familiar with Mopar interior paints. Mixes quarts, pints, or spray cans. He is where I got my Suede dash paint and argent grill paint from.
