curse you RAM truck dealers and your nitrogen air

Just tell your salesman you don’t want all that crap and head for the door. If he doesn’t hit you with a decent counter before you push out hit the next dealer. Good thing about living in a large metro area is there are probably ten Ram dealers within 25 miles of me.

However the odds of the stealership having what you desire is slim.
My last new car I had to fly to Colorado. Before that a drive to Maryland, before that, Columbus Ohio. When they do have something here, they are reluctant to move. Even if you are armed with insider information.

i found a man that wanted to sell a truck regardless of the daily market price of nitrogen - i20 dodge canton texas no bullshit sales just what i needed. they even had a base model with no adds on it. thats unheard of around here.

this one only has the off road package and the level1 big horn lone star package its pretty basic

Glad you found what you wanted and it was reasonably close. Which is why the "small town dealers" do as good as they tend to do. Customers who want more function and "nice" rather than glitz and such.

Take care,

how hot does these freaking new motors run?

i told my old lady if this was my plymouth i would have driven it into the lake to cool it off at this point

the eTorque is some strange things. and the auto shut off is total ****. how do you disable that like forever?

The auto-stop can be modulated a bit by brake pedal pressure. Just enough to keep the vehicle stationary but not enough to trigger the switch. There might be a disable switch, but it only works for each start cycle.

You might file those engine temps away for future reference, using the Driver Info Ctr more for speed than anything else. As long as the temp gauge is in the center of the travel, all should be fine.

Enjoy!

My twin turbo runs hotter than that yet still on the “low side” of middle of the gauge.

The auto-shut off can usually be defeated pretty easily. On my car the feature does not work if car is in “sport mode” which is always, in my case, except interstates. It is also overridden if the a/c is on max setting or by just a slight release of the brake then brake again.
In my experience the US manufacturers do a decent job with the quickest start as you let off the brake. The imports, particularly europeans have a noticeable delay so that it’s annoying. The reason my car is in sport mode in stop n go driving.

Same here. 2005 Grand Caravan and a 2005 Chevy Tahoe.
My brides 2016 Kia is our new vehicle. She bought it at 0% financing and it has a 10 yr. 100,000 mile warranty. We'll drive it 'til the wheels fall off.
MY newest vehicle is a '80 D150. Perfect for what I need and it's got cruise, A/C and an 8' bed (that never has to be made) Thanks Joe Diffie...lol

this has the hybrid etorque motor on it too. it does work well/quickly but i dont like not feeling the truck running.

That cattleguard needs some matching blue powdercoat.

i cannot dispute this statement sir :)

As a sidebar from the OP.
I needed one of those "deer bouncer-offers" things a while back.
Is that the official Mopar Parts Description for those? No wonder the parts counter guy couldn't find one.
$4k in damage in the blink of an eye.

this was a mandatory item. those suckers stand over at the side of the road waiting for you to drive by.

As it turned out, my insurance adjuster heard the thump. He had that guy in his freezer before he even looked at the car in the dealer body shop in the am.
