All original 1966 Chyrsler Crown Imperial | Classic Cars | Calgary | Kijiji

Unbelievable interior! Not mine.
He has three great Chrysler's, Ok, two and an Imperial, all at the same price. Which would you pick, and why?

Wow, what a selection. Talk about a tough decision. I love them all but that Imperial really does something for me. It is a great color and that interior is gorgeous. The finest offering by Ma Mopar for 1966. That is one beautiful Imperial.

I would certainly go with the 300. Because I love a 300. It is a drivers car. For me the only thing that would make me like it more is if it was a 66 and the Newport a 65 . The Imperial I would love to spend a day with. The first part would be me just driving it and getting the feel the rest would be somebody driving me around.

I think the pricing is good. They are great cars.
If I was retired I would like to buy all three and broker them out. Well the Newport and Imp anyway.

Being they are all northern North America vehicles, which ones have factory a/c?

I can see the 300 has factory AC, the Newport does not, and I think the Imp does, but I'm not 100% positive.
The knob closest to us in the Imp is for “floor air” so yes it’s an ac car. All 3 are beauties but I’d go for the 300 if I had to choose. That Imps interior is stunning but I’m not a fan of the body color. If it had a black top maybe I’d change my mind.

I'd go for the 300 myself although you can't go wrong with any of them. Now is that 18.5K Canadian or USD?

@300rag can shed some light on these cars I believe....
So just under $15K USD. All three look like good deals to me. And it says OBO on the Newport.

Don't know why I can't find the link for the thread here, but I remember the comments made about the single page appraisal.
This did just sell at auction on Oct 17, I found the auction site. The link only shows that it sold, but not the hammer price. Lots of pics.

I'd hold onto my money and keep looking.
Nice cars but none of them are my ideal.
I'd be pleased to own and enjoy any of the 3, with a tossup choosing between the Nupe and the 300.
I like the panache of hte 300, but would like to have a 'vert again, but the color combo on this Nupe doesn't excite me.

But when I think about the sizable dent either one would put in my finances, neither one really pulls my heartstrings. I would want something 'better'.

I feel the same way. My favourite colour on these is the deep plum, but that wouldn't go with the interior. It would be perfect with a black roof and gold body, or all black. I'm sure someone will be very proud to have it as is.

I would choose the 300, like most have. They all have appeal, the convertible is a convertible, the Imperial is super classy, and the 300 is a really nice blue, on a beautiful body style.

All I know is that the 300 was just at auction a short time ago and discussed here, but I can't find it in our search.

I thought you might like the Newport, as it's a close opposite car of your 300.

All gorgeous cars. 1966 was the first year for a 440 nestled between those Elwood Engle sculpted fenders. If money and space were no object, the 300 would be my choice.
