I couldn’t pass on this one. Bought new in Hollywood CA and spent most of its life in the California desert region before moving on to its 3rd owner in Las Vegas who I got it from.
It was last licensed in ‘83 but accumulated around 177K miles before going into long term storage with the second owner. The interior is absolutely crispy but doesn’t appear to have any rust issues at all and the previous owner got it running and started working on restoring the door panels before deciding to let it go.
I don’t know if this car could be more loaded and was originally turquoise over black with a black top which is literally right out of the pages of the brochure. At some point it was repainted silver and that paint job was burned through in the desert sun but the original paint is still under the hood, in the trunk and all the jambs.
I haven’t spent too much time with it yet except to pull the drain plugs out of the block as I was suspicious that it probably didn’t have antifreeze in it and it is currently stored outside. I don’t think it’s going to be above 25 degrees for the extended forecast and lows will be near zero quite a bit.

I know it will be beautiful when you're finished with it. It's got a good home!

Enjoy!

Congrats and best of luck with the restoration! Needless to say, I think that the color is great :)

Very nice score Matt! I love the color combo and full menu of options. Glad to see that Imperial found the right home. I swear you have more Imperials than Mr. Dryesdale ever had! LOL.
