This was in the Orlando FL area and on our local news, with a update this past fall that they finally got back into the fixed house after IIRC over a year of being out of the house. Big legal tie up over who was at fault roofer vs crane (company?), a real headshaker.
(edit) the real idiotsy are the people that have shingles on a steeped pitched roof like that (or any roof) in a high wind hurricane state.

“Bad, bad, bad idea,” she says in the video, while showing off the matted-down, helmet-firm hair on top of her head. The glue also hardened up her long ponytail.
