Hello Fellow Mopar fans,

Sorry for the repeat inquiry (error on my part as I should have posted the rim inquiry bit on the looking for parts section, so FCBO removed the whole post and all replies, since I failed to follow protocol. Again, sorry about that mistake fellers.) but can anyone please let me know /repeat what size 15" rims I can fit inside my 1968 Newport wheel wells?

15 x 7... x8?

thanks again,
Mike

Factory equipment, drum brakes was 14x5.5 on sedans, 14x6.5 on wagons. Power disc brakes had 15x6 with 8.45x15 tires. '66 wagons had 9.00x14s on the 14x6.5 wheels. I have P245/70R-14 BFG Advantage T/As on the 14x6.5 wheels on my '67 Newport.

Factory 15" wheels for consideration. 15x7 "cop car" wheels. 15x6.5" Rallye Wheels from '76-era Charger SE. 15x7 Magnum GT wheels (with no nubs for hub caps, so need a center cap). There was a 15x8 wheel (a 15x7 Magnum GT wheel, without the special metallic paint) that was used on the Volare Kit Cars and are now somewhat $$$$$. The alloy wheels from the '80 Cordobas and similar Dodge Miradas are also options.

Hope this helps,

I acquired 15 X 7 rims. wondering if you could recommend the largest size that would safely fit the 68 Newport?
