NOT MINE 1969 chrysler 300 conv red.

Awesome car in nice color combo! If represented accurately that may actually go for the price. Do see it's not actually a TNT car which hurts a bit. Could see this one go overseas.

The price is correct imo...........
All prices are going up , why not the C bodies ?!!!!

Beautiful car. In addition to the TNT question, I wonder about the stance.

One another comment: The top trim on the back convertible top bow stops as it turns over the roof line.
--> On a Polara convertible, that would be incorrect as the original top trim on the rear bow extends down the side of the top to cover the material under the rear bow.
--> On this 300, whose top is claimed to be original, it seems to be correct (cue the tops on this original B3 1969 Newport that was for sale in NH last November and on this original DR8 1970 Newport that was for sale in Ohio last month).
--> I am puzzled, as I had been under the impression that the top was the same for the fuselage Chrysler and Dodge 'verts. @Big_John @71Polara383 @polara71

It appears an AM/FM radio & cruise were added at some point. Don't see that as a detraction though. To me the real money shots are of underbody detail in the rust prone areas but sellers almost never do that. Trunk floor on convertibles also. Due to low miles & indoor storage this one might actually pass muster.

The top doesn't look right to me.

I really like the car though... The interior color is different with the red and I'd have to think about it, but possibly, a different color top might be nice. I seriously doubt that's the original top.

A top to match the interior would look better in my opinion.

I see no issue that leads me to conclude that isn't the original top. The blue car has a plastic rear window which is certainly not original. The trim that attaches to the tacking strip could easily vary by the top supplier and to think they would be exactly the same on all production cars is a stretch. The tops on these cars were very rugged and wouldn't need to be replaced unless very weather beaten or high miles. I've had 3 old rags with original tops that lead harder lives than this one and they were all near perfect condition.

Looks right to me. Fury and Polara use a different top than the Chrysler.
Beautiful car but I couldn't live with the tan interior and black top.

I agree. It looks nice and the history with documentation is a plus .I am having trouble with the color combo A red body, saddle interior, black top with a white stripe seems a bit busy to me . I could think of better color combos

Page 7 of this thread discuss the Polara top. Convertible tops , Boots and well liners

If it applies, I really don't know. As I said, it just doesn't look right to me, but that's based on a picture and some limited knowledge. Probably the last truly original top I saw was in the 70's and I didn't know (or care) about the difference then, so I'm not the guy to say.

I'm always suspicious of originality claims of items like tops and upholstery. A top that looks 52 years old might really be 35 years old...

Worthy of note...

Top is now claimed to be "Like new" rather than "original"

1st, this is a beautiful car, the cruise looks correct to me. Looks just like my 69 Fury cruise except in a lot better shape. The windshield is not tinted so I suspect it was replaced. I'm thinking this is a restoration to some extent and not a survivor as implied.

A lot of questions regarding originality could be answered by laying eyes on it. They don't say much about the originality of anything including the paint and interior which shouldn't be redone if in fact it is a 25k mile/ always garaged car. If it's a true 1-owner, then I'd talk to the guy directly. He'd have to be at least 80 though, probably a 3rd party selling on his behalf that doesn't know too much.

Cruise does not appear on window sticker. Perhaps a dealer install.
