Pricey but nice!

Beautiful car, but at $34,999 I don't want to see a dent in the fender, or a torn seat, and I want to see the third row.

" Original 383 4 barrel 335HP - (N Code?)" Why the question mark? Since he doesn't share the VIN or a picture of the fender tag, is he asking whether that should be correct? Also, he must not be a Mopar guy as the N in a C Body was 330 HP; 335 in a Dodge B Body.

I know the seller, who is a member here. He owns a car that I might buy (not a T&C). I have never met him in person but, from what I have learned talking to him, he’s not into codes and does not like to make claims unless he’s 100 pct sure.

The tag is visible on photo 30 in the Hemmings listing. Here it is CP45N0C2458x7 (not sure of the penultimate digit -- looks like CP45N0C245837 but could be CP45N0C245857 or CP45N0C245897).

Edit: the same seller also has a T-code 3-row 1970 T&C for sale on Hemmings, CP46TOC223761 -- no photos of the fender tag or engine bay.

Love these things! Dad had a 71 with the 440. I prefer the 71 grille, but these are nice too.

I dislike the Formal premier wheel covers on the blue one...they look wrong with the centre painted and on this application in my opinion.

I'd use these...one of my all time favourite wheel covers:

The second one is about 3500$ max.. Low option and needs a LOT.....
The recent market there were two that sold for under 2 grand in equal and better condition....

The blue one might be good for about one third of the asking.. Where someone went to a lot of trouble to
paint the car they should have done it properly.. Motor comp isn't suppose to be black.. Cruise doesn't work..
Lower quarters look to have been repaired and the wood decal has been replaced.... Plus with the defects
the seller mentions makes the stated price extreme...

The car is very nice looking ,, will have to admit that....

Headliner looks bad in the back. I'd love to have this thing, but at an actual market price. This seller has had multiple wagons for sell for awhile right? Usually 2x over price.

It is surprising that on a car as nice as this the underhood was painted all black whereas the cowl area should be the exterior blue. At the least, I would have left it alone rather than paint it black.
Overall, a very nice looking wagon.

Hello, I bought this Station from the same seller. I let made a Inspection as I am in Switzerland, so I did know what I am buying. Price was enough but as this Monaco are rare and I love the color (not green) and it have a nice interior and no rust and its a T-Code. The blue T&C looks very nice <3 but is high in price even for Switzerland... ;-) I have now two Monaco Station Wagons, 1968 & 1972. Love all Mopars and wish a nice new owner for the blue one.

@SwissABC — thank you for sharing your story. Great car, what are your plans with it?

I want a set of Premier covers for mine - but only the kind with the "Chrysler" script used in '74 - '76.

Hello, thank you for asking (long time ago :) ) I put a new Carpet inside, new tailgateglass (was broken/missing), new doorlocks (key was only for ignition), I found a right passenger side outside mirrow (I am used and like to drive with two mirrows), find a NOS packaged tray as this one had a lot of pixels and not nice, engine was not really running good, did not know what I am buying, BUT after half a day at my Mopar-Mechanic it runs like new, engine is very well!! That was a nice surprize! 57k miles. Interior is nice, only the plastic behind I have to make still some restauration/new painting. Well, this photo is actuell from Dez. 22 now, I picked her up at the paintshop and now she is in a shop who they have to create the new Woody-Decal all over the car. I am looking forward how this would be at the end! I only have to change the back-bumper with a more nice one (what I had buyed last year - from USA north-east, front and rear Bumpers where gone by a truckdriver (friend of the seller) to Texas to "my" address, so they gone into a Container for ending up here in Switzerland). AND the Front Grille is some damaged - I buyed a good one in USA but it arrieved broken here :-( I think I can make a nice one with both damaged.... but don't hurry. Well, the Monaco arrived here in Switzerland at Dez. 06 2020. Because I have a bigger Project also, a very rusty (now no rust anymore) 1978 Dodge Magnum XE T-Tops, I had not so many time for the Monaco. Step by step... Hope we all can have a great V8-year and stay healthy. Greetings, Isabel (yes, this is my RAM too, only Mopars :) and some others, this is why my name here is SwissABC - A-Body B-Body C-Body :)
