Selling my 1974 Chrysler New Yorker Brougham. It has a rebuilt 440 installed, (no idea if it’s original or not)
88k miles

The good:
Has a straight body
Engine runs good and burns no oil

Brand new tires
Almost no rust
Runs and drives good
New battery

The bad:
Transmission leak
Power steering leak
Fuel leak at carburetor
Rust in lower side rear quarter
Slight tear in drivers seat
A/C does not kick on.
Needs new belts

Looking to get $6,000 obo.
Motivated to sell. PM for more pictures or info.

Tell us a bit more about what you know of the cars History Logan. After all that work, Why are you seeing? I see she has manual A/C which is Plus and rear window defrost. Did you do LED's in the dash? I had a 75 2dr and have a special place in my heart for these cars.

This is all of the history I know so far:

It was bought new by the PO’s dad in 1974
(I have a ton of paperwork on the purchase and misc repairs)

Sometime between then and 2013 a rock was put in the oil pan and the original motor locked up. A rebuilt one was put in. I’m unsure if it is the og or it was pulled from something.

I purchased the car last September, and got it running/driving. I put new front brakes on it because one of the calipers froze in a half-closed position and it ruined the rotor. I also put in new fuel lines/metal inline filter in the engine bay because the old ones were old and leaky. I also did a trans. fluid change as well as an oil change. I got it as a project but things have come up and I need the money. That’s all the history I know on it.

Appreciate the update.

That's a pretty New Yorker. Wish you were in a position to do some trading! Good luck on the sale, that should sell quickly.
