Hello!

Firstly, please know that I’m aware of what I’m asking for, I know that they only made about 2,800 ’69 DL46s…and probably only a couple hundred are left in the world, which is why I’m also considering any right Fuselage Wagon that’s available, would like to have as many options as I can find.

I don’t need a show car but I need something that’s good enough to be a daily driver.

I would love to have a big block car, especially a 440, but again I’m aware that most BB Wagons were pilfered for their motors.

I don’t care for the color combo, I can change it if I don’t like it after a while.

I would like A/C but I might not care if the car ticks all the other boxes.

I would also prefer a Three-Row Wagon but again I might not care if the car ticks all the other boxes.

I’m actually located near Santa Clarita, California. if there’s something local…awesome! But if not, I can get the car transported to me…

Anyways, please contact me if you know someone who wants to sell one or might consider letting yours go.

Many thanks in advance,
T-revorNobody

I learned a long time ago when looking for a 25 year old car that you can not be selective on options, only condition and your talents will dictate that. Now this is a 52 year old car we are being particular about options.

Be grateful for what you find and consider everything. Be prepared to wait. That's my advice to that guy lookin.

I agree, I can't count the times a guy passed on a car I was selling because of interior color, no cruise, etc, only to contact me 6 months later to see if I still had it.. best of luck, hope you find what you want! Times ticking!

IMHO, @T-revorNobody has been doing things the right way. His posts demonstrate that not many C-bodies go past him: indeed, he is often the first one to be aware of a car's being put up for sale on FB or CL. He knows what he wants, is realistic about the market and supply/demand balance, and is now reaching out asking if anyone would consider selling a car. Best of luck to him in his search!

My observation about station wagons is that they were used for their intended purpose and then discarded later on. I suspect the survival rate percentage increased with the MSRP and carline. Which tends to make me smile when the less-optioned Dodges and Plymouths are found in good condition, decades later, then made into neat vehicles for which a serious restoration usually can't be justified, with selective "Mopar Hobby-Approved" upgrades.

In general, such a vehicle might have a 360 2bbl rather than a B/RB engine, TF, factory a/c, ps and pdb. What would have been a typical mid-line vehicle when new. Options past that would be open to discussion. A B/RB engine would be nice, as would factory FM stereo, cruise and tilt, pwr seat and windows, and other things typical of the higher trim level options (in this case a Monaco rather than a Polara). Hopefully, somebody chose an attractive color combination and durable interior, too.

Hopefully, what is desired is still on the road and useable, rather than residing in a salvage yard.

Enjoy the hunt!
