Trailer towing package

Found this kinda humorous. Trailer towing package on 65 300 parts car. Wheels attached to bottom of frame to help keep bumper from dragging. It seemed to work well as bottom of bumper is pretty straight.
 
Might be a bad idea to load a bumper mount hitch like that to the point you need the "wheelie bars" but no worse than the crap seen on the roads everyday around here. I really like the adapters to use a 2" mount in a 1 1/4" receiver. :realcrazy:
 
These are just skid wheels to keep from tail dragging when going through steep transitions.

You see them all of the time on RVs and long tail trailers. Sometimes they aren't even wheels but just an extended piece of metal. They're pretty useful and keeping the rear from slamming and dragging.

Most urban driveways had that steep ramp from the curb up to sidewalk level. Seems like all big cars back in the 60s would scrap the bumper when full of people.
