Is this an original booster? Or can I just replace it instead of rebuilding it.

Only picture I have right now.

The remains of the original sticker would indicate that it's an original, never messed with booster.

It's always a good idea to have your booster rebuilt. Most of the time they will give you some warning when they are starting to fail, but every so often they don't. I had one fail on me with no warning what soever, and it can be a really bad situation when your stopping distance unexpectedly doubles on you. Thankfully, I was on a quiet back road when mine failed. If I had been coming up on stopped traffic, it could have been a disaster.

What ever you do ,don't throw it out. These things are getting harder to find and many reman companies don't reman them anymore.

It will be rebuilt if it is the original to my 71 newport custom.
That's why I'm asking. If it's aftermarket, I can just buy another one. But if it's original I want to keep it original and will send it in to get it rebuilt.

I can't make out the numbers above 3106873 and it's snowing outside so I'm not getting to it tonight.
