Perfect day here in Tennessee for a drive! We had some mufflers installed last week and realized on the way home we could hear some rattling. A little time on the lift revealed pipes making contact with the shocks so today we’re headed back to have it fixed. Just a pretty day for a drive!! Thought I would share a few pics...

Yes the car did look familiar and did make the cover of Mopar Muscle.

The car is exactly how it was built with the exception of the A/C system has been upgraded to the modern compressor. I believe it’s still on Pure Visions website under previous builds.

The wheels are 18’s but I can’t take any credit for the wheels, marker lights, or any piece of the car. It was built in 03 by Steve Strope of Pure Vision in Simi Valley, CA. I will try to post a link of the article in the Hot Rod Magazine. If I’m not mistaken, it was on the cover of Hot Rod and Mopar Muscle.

I'm not a fan of larger wheels on a C body than fifteens. The car wears those well.

I agree with both parts of your statement... We have a 66 4dr we put 15” steel wheels on and played with the offsets just a little on the rear.

As for the 18’s, I do like them on that car. Any bigger and it starts taking the stance in another direction. I like how the big body on the car just hangs over and the wheels tuck under the car. Any bigger on the wheel size and you have to raise the car and I’m not a fan...
