I'd give him $650, I could use several parts from this car. I'm sure the ad is a typo, no way in hell he expects to get $6,500.

I wonder why he wrote that, did he see some coming?

all ready been said.

i ain't dissin' seller - people can set their expectations anywhere they want. but nearly $7 big is a bit "tall" for this one based upon what we see here to "start the bidding" with IMHO.

hope it finds a good home.

Looks like a tan dash, black door panels and green seats.

That one got stored with a lot of water and salt on it in from that 1st 20k miles.
And the mongoose.

But does appear to be an unmolested and/or original 383 HP.

...alright, so about to put the ignorance on full display: OP's pointed me at some items before, I'm looking for a 69 Chrysler to fix up using my 69 Chrysler Newport Custom. Given everything, I'm actually excited to see a Newport Custom and contemplating reaching out :) He's got it back up on FB for the $4800; I'm in Michigan and not really able to swing by where he is in Ohio so I'd probably be shipping it up to me if something worked out.
As it is, what would be sane for this? Knowing that, if I could get it, I'd be carving up two Newport Customs to make one (my interior is great, my frame is rotted through apparently).

Value is far to subjective for ME to say. It is all about what you see the value at. I would say you need to look at it as a parts car so what would it cost you to get the parts you need elsewhere. If you want this for the frame/undercarriage I would insist on pics of it on a lift as this would be critical for you. If you're plan is to use your quarter panel to replace this one I would check the trunk, floor pans very closely because that took a good hit on the quarter and it could have screwed up the body underneath as well which could result in alignment problems because of the unibody. I don't know what other parts you would need but when you're done, there are several, what appear to be nice parts on this car such as the dutchman panel and I personally would drive to Ludington to purchase the windshield if not delaminated, AC Muffler, and possibly the steering wheel if you don't use them.
