G'Day, G'Day,
O.K. What I want to do is to add a Set of Hazard Flashers to My 69 Phoenix.
What is the Simplest & Most Reliable Way of Doing this?
T.I.A. Tony.M
P.S.
Thanks to All the People Who Have Helped Before. I Some Times Forget to Say Thank You.
Your Help is Always Appreciated even if Not Acknowledged. T.M.

It doesn't have them?

4PST switch
Flasher relay

Flasher relay goes to battery power not accessory

Minimal modification to existing wiring.

Hey!
We're Talking about OZ here.
Even Our Luxury Cars came as Poverty Packs a Lot of the Time. LOL
A Dodge Phoenix was Top of the Chrysler Range in it's Day, But the Only " Standard Extras" on the 69-72 Models were Disc Brakes & Power Steering.
Air Cond, Wheel Arch Molds & Sill Trims Etc., were All Extra Cost.
Thanks for the Help. Tony.M

ok, that being said.

4PST Switch (4-pole on/off) Tie all 4 poles on one side of the switch.

1. To flasher relay - to power (Bat not acc)
Find three wires to turn switch, tap a wire into each of these, connect to each of the other 4 poles. (The factory did this at the switch, two wires into a terminal)
2. Front Left
3. Front Right
4. Brake Switch

In a nutshell it is that simple.

O.K.
Once Again, Thanks!
Tony.M
P.S.
I'll Eventually be coming Back for Assistance with a Complete LED Lighting Conversion.
(That's Not a Threat Just a Warning. You Might Want to Go Into Hiding. LOL)

Thanks Again,
Another Question.
Is it Possible to Run LED & Incandescent Globes together, I'm Just Thinking it'll be Easy Enough Replacing Most of the Globes.
But the Ones hiding in behind the Dash are Gonna be a Real Bugger. (Alright for you Young Fellas, LOL)

Never tried LED, don't know.

Alan

I believe you can get direct replacement LEDs from superbrightleds.com
Taxes and shipping may make it cost prohibitive down under but maybe there is something available in OZ. Good luck!

Hi Tony,
Ive used LED and filament bulbs in the same circuits many times in my 69 Phoenix without issue. Normal bulbs are good because they keep a load on flasher relays so the LEDs blink at a normal rate. Same goes with parkers and brake lights.
