Polaroid and Vintage Pictures

My next vehicle, a 1979 CJ-5, inline 6, no back seat, soft top only. Put on large all terrain tires not long after I bought it. This was one of my top 3 vehicles I’ve ever owned. Had it for 2 years, then my son was born and we had to move to a larger apartment and the Jeep had to go... I still tell my son that I traded my Jeep in for him... (turned out to be a very good trade)

And finally, a 1985 Plymouth Turismo 2.2, purchased brand new. I loved this car but really abused it with the stick shift... was totaled out in 1986 when we were rear ended by a driver going about 60 in a 35. I was the second car she hit, the 1st car rolled over and a young newlywed wife was killed on the scene. Just tragic.

Dad's '75 Plymouth Grand Fury Brougham.
What's the tall building in background? It sure looks like the Renaissance Center, now GM HQ, but it can't be.
The four surrounding towers were built before the tall central hotel tower.
is this taken in Atlanta perhaps on another trip to Florida?

My K car rolling over 20k on the odometer. Took about ten months.
Not a real informative gauge package!

Spring '80. Just back from Maaco with a fresh paint job.
Bought this with rusted out front fenders and pinholes across the edge of hood. Otherwise a clean low miles, manual trans, fun car to drive.
Hung two new fenders ordered through the local dealer and glassed the hood edge. Viola!
Talked the seller into throwing in the second set of wheels and tires. Bam!

‘73 Dart spotted on the 101. Driver looked like he too was right out of the 70’s.

‘71 Sport Fury parked just up the road from where I’m living. Sadly the car is on her last legs as she’s got severe rust in the top of the roof and around the base of the rear windshield.

Not a great picture of my car but it is the earliest one I have. I recently found this one, taken in January 1967 when the car was only 1 month old.

Just noticed no rocker moldings, they were added a year later.
